To expand the possibilities of MesNews it is possible to add plugins. Any plugins installed can be activated and deactivated at all times.  Menu Configuration shows all installed plugins, the activated ones have a tick. In some cases you can get the configuration screen of the plugin by clicking on the name of the plugin.

To activate or deactivate a plugin go to the menu Settings\management of the plugins. the next screen will be shown :

The list shows all installed plugins. The box next to the name of each plugin lets you activate/deactivate. The ticked boxes are active plugins.

The option Hide the unused plugins lets you hide the inactive plugins so only the active plugins are shown in the list of the menu Settings.

The arrows on the right make it possible to order the plugins. The way plugins work can differ according to the order the plugins are in. (example, it is possible that a plugin that makes XFaces not works because you put an other plugin in front that also generates XFaces).

Remark :
- Plugins are saved in to the folder Plugins , in the installation folder of MesNews.
- the order of the plugins is important.
- When a new plugin is installed in MesNews it is put at the bottom of the list and is activated automatically.
